The Oxford Fire Department proudly serves our community with Advanced Life Support services. Our paramedic units in both of our stations are staffed, by highly trained emergency medical professionals, ready and available to meet your needs.

We respond to 1,800 EMS calls on average per year. Some of these calls are for citizen assists and roughly 65-70% of them are transported to a nearby emergency facility.

We commonly transport to emergency facilities such as Ascension Providence Rochester, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Pontiac, McLaren Oakland, McLaren Lapeer, and William Beaumont Hospital Troy.

Our EMS protocols are created by the Bureau of EMS, Trauma & Preparedness through the State of Michigan and locally at the Oakland County Medical Control Authority.
